The Kano State Government has clarified that restrictions on Hawan Daushe, Hawan Fanisau, and Hawan Dorayi durbars only apply to Kano Emirate, not affecting Rano, Karaye, and Gaya Emirates.
This comes after the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, announced Eid-el-Fitr security and celebration measures.
The clarification was made by Governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, to alleviate concerns about the festivities in other emirates. The restrictions are part of efforts to ensure public safety during the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
