…Gunmen ambush Sokoto State Government vehicle abducts all passengers.

Bandits have been terrorizing passengers along the Sokoto and Zamfara axis, with recent incidents leaving several people dead and many others abducted.
In one attack, a bus operating under the Sokoto State Transport Authority was intercepted, resulting in one passenger being shot dead and others taken captive.
The military has launched efforts to rescue the abducted passengers and track down the perpetrators.
In another incident, seven people were killed and three others abducted in a bandit attack on a border community in Sokoto State.
The attackers, reportedly loyal to bandit leader Bello Turji, also rustled livestock and set homes ablaze. The military has responded with operations targeting Turji’s hideouts, resulting in the neutralization of several bandits.
However, Senator Aliyu Magakarda Wammakko has recently raise alarm and concern over President removal of PVIP to high profile figures which was kicked against by government of the day.
He raise a motion at the Senate but government was silent over the whole situation.
