A Muslim survivor of the recent Plateau attack has shared a heartwarming story of how a Christian stranger risked his life to save him. Sa’idu Murtala, a garden egg seller, was attending to customers when gunmen opened fire in Anguwan Rukuba, Jos, killing at least 28 people.
Murtala according to THE NORTHERN STAR ONLINE recounted that a Christian man quickly opened his house and hid him inside, bringing him food and reassuring him throughout the night. The next day, the man called Murtala’s father, who came to pick him up.
“This man knew I was a Muslim, and he still risked his life to save me,” Murtala said, expressing gratitude for the stranger’s kindness. The attack has sparked widespread condemnation, with President Bola Tinubu directing security agencies to intensify efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.
