The former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. AbdulRasheed Bawa, CON, attended the valedictory ceremony held in honor of Dr. Abdul Ibrahim, Deputy Commander General of Narcotics, as he retires from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The ceremony took place on Monday, February 2, 2026, with the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, attending and delivering a speech. The event was also attended by the Chairman of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), and other dignitaries.
Before his retirement, Dr. Abdul Ibrahim served as Director of Asset and Financial Investigation, making significant contributions to the NDLEA’s mandate and operations.
The EFCC Chairman, Mr. Bawa, wished Dr. Ibrahim well in his retirement, praying for his happiness and blessings.
