A 35-year-old man, Danlami Mohammed, from Kontagora in Niger State, has been caught twice for allegedly raping children.
The first incident occurred in 2025, and he was bailed after spending a few days in custody.
Last week, he was caught again for the same act, sparking outrage among community youths who attempted to take the law into their own hands.
Security personnel intervened and rescued him, transferring his case to Minna police headquarters for investigation and charges.
The Niger State child right agency is urging citizens to report cases of child abuse, child molestation, and rape against children on their emergency.
