The newly elected Gwarimpa Chairman, Murtala Mohammed Haruna, has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) along with over 500 supporters.
Haruna, who was the PDP chairman in Gwagwa Ward of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), cited the positive change in the APC administration as the reason for his defection .
This isn’t an isolated incident, as several politicians have defected from PDP to APC in recent times, citing internal crises and instability within the PDP.
For instance, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang and Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri have also joined the APC.
