Former Governor of Sokoto State Aliyu Magakarda Wammakko and Leader of APC North-West alongside Ahmed Aliyu has paid a condolence visit to former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, expressing sympathy over the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.
The visit was part of a wave of condolences from prominent political figures, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda, and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.
During the visit, Senator Wammakko described the late Hajiya Umma as a beloved mother and matriarch, praying for her soul to rest in Aljannatul Firdaus. He also expressed solidarity with the El-Rufai family, acknowledging the profound loss they are experiencing.
The death of Hajiya Umma El-Rufai has sparked an outpouring of sympathy from Nigerians, with many leaders and citizens paying tribute to her life and legacy.
El-Rufai, who is currently facing corruption charges, was granted temporary release from ICPC custody to attend his mother’s funeral.
Meanwhile, the burial attract top political figures as from the North with former, Minister Ali Pantami reconcile both Governor Uba Sani and Nasiru El-rufai as many speculations and wards of wisdom coming from Prof. Pantami that forgiven each other at the moment would go a long way in being peace saying ” whoever forgive wrong doing would never fall.
Although, Elrufai yesterday look gentle receiving dignitaries from all nooks and crannies of his residence in Abuja.
However, Hajiya Ummi die in Cairo Egypt, after old aged illness while Nasiru El-rufai was in ICPC custody battling litigations.
