The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Kaduna State Chapter, on Saturday, 3rd October, 2026, staged a colourful Roadshow in Kaduna metropolis to create awareness ahead of the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) Abuja 2026, scheduled to hold from 15th to 21st November, 2026.
The Roadshow, which was flagged off by the Immediate Past President of the Institute, Mal. Mukhtar Sirajo, fnipr, said it is part of a nationwide sensitization campaign for what will be the first-ever hosting of the prestigious global forum on African soil, with Nigeria as host.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Sirajo noted that the WPRF Abuja 2026 will bring together the global Public Relations community in Nigeria, presenting a unique opportunity for the country to shape its own narrative before the world.
“We are going to show the world who we are – we are Nigeria, we are resilient, we are indefatigable, and we are not just people of PR, we are PR itself,” Sirajo declared.
He commended the current NIPR leadership for its boldness, vision, and commitment in taking such a huge initiative.
In his remarks, the Chairman of NIPR Kaduna State Chapter, Mal. Abdullahi Mohammed, expressed appreciation to members, supporters, students, and partners who turned out en masse for the awareness walk.
He stated that the Roadshow underscored the profession’s critical role in promoting peace, trust, and national development, adding that the Kaduna Chapter remains fully committed to contributing to the success of WPRF Abuja 2026.
In her goodwill message, the President of Jam’iyar Matan Arewa, Hajiya Rabi Musa Saulawa, commended the Chairman of the Kaduna Chapter for organizing a successful and impactful Roadshow.
She expressed delight at participating in the walk, noting that her involvement demonstrated the strong and cordial relationship between her organization and the leadership of NIPR in Kaduna State.
The Roadshow witnessed a large turnout of Students, PR practitioners and partner organizations who marched through major streets of Kaduna, sensitizing the public about the forthcoming WPRF Abuja 2026.
