BUK fixed the application fee at ₦5,000, while acceptance costs ₦2,000. Successful candidates will, however, pay a registration fee of ₦60,000. Foreign applicants are to pay an equivalent of $100 as tuition.
The programme is scheduled to commence in May 2026, after which successful candidates who meet the required UTME score and internal screening conditions will be eligible for admission into 100-level science-based degree programmes for the 2026/2027 session.
The university also noted that the remedial programme will be hosted under its College of Natural and Pharmaceutical Sciences, with students receiving intensive training in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geography.
Interested applicants are required to apply online through the university’s remedial portal and complete their registration using approved payment channels.
