Claim: A video shows a Lebanese woman crying for help and accusing her husband of abandoning her; the post identifies the husband as “A.A. Rano (AA Rano Oil)” implying the well-known Kano businessman Auwalu Abdullahi Rano and/or his company A A Rano Nigeria Limited.
The caption says she’s the wife of “A.A Rano Oil CEO Aliyu Abubakar” and that A A Rano is the man involved.

Rano Nigeria Limited and a group of companies operating in oil & gas, aviation, agro-processing and related sectors. He is popularly known as “A.A. Rano” and is associated with several Rano-branded subsidiaries.
Separately, Nigerian social media and local outlets are circulating a video of a Lebanese woman pleading for help, naming her husband misconstrued as AA Rano. The video has been shared widely on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Verification: In examining the evidence analysing the viral video, it emerged that the lebanese woman during the press conference consistently referred to the concerned individual as Aliyu Abubakar.
