Senator Aliyu Magakarda Wammakko who represent Sokoto Central Senatorial seat and Leader of APC in Sokoto revealed three point that made him succeed in politics which include: keeping promises, respect human dignity and last speak the truth. Adding that the three point has been brain behind his success politically.

Wammako who is currently, the Chairman House Committee on both Local and Foreign Debts, was optimistic that any politician that kept his wards and respect human dignity would be at forefront to succeed, but said not all politicians kept promise that why many fall.
While fielding Questions and Answers session on the rancour between him and Hon: Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, said he has no any grudges or misunderstanding with him, adding that “I brought Tambuwal to power and took over from me, I see him as brother.
Explaining that both Aminu and Ahmed Aliyu were anointed by me, so if I criticize them is like I’m jeopardizing my dignity nor image.
“I don’t want to make comments on both dua’s because of my closeness with them. Saying” have you seen someone who anointed person and as well criticize him for me that is not my culture. But, I prefer to meet you personally or secret and also discuss. Even if we have our uncommon differences, I prefer we meet secretly than to resolved by airing on radio or newspapers.
He also, described his victories as from God Almighty, who always made him wins elections.
Wammakko who served Sokoto from 2007 to 2015 said he is worried with insecurity, particularly bandits saying insha’allahu the menace would become history.
While pleading with stakeholders around sokoto axis to always reports any suspicious act to District Heads/Wards Head to enable government fish out bad eggs in the state and country at large.
