Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has received a prestigious award from the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), a prominent cultural and political organization representing Northern Nigeria.
The award recognizes Wamakko’s outstanding contributions and dedication to the development of the region.
Wamakko, a former Governor of Sokoto State, has been honored for his commitment to education, justice, and community development.
He has established the Northwest University in Sokoto and has sponsored numerous students for higher education, both locally and internationally .
This award is one of many recognitions Wamakko has received for his service to humanity, including the “Icon of Human Development” award from Radio China and the “Outstanding Leadership Award” from the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Sokoto State Branch .
