A tragic incident occurred in Sokoto, Nigeria, where a groom, identified as Saifullah Hassan, also known as Dan Gaske, allegedly slaughtered his bride, Balkisu Garba, just three days after their marriage.
The incident happened at Ifeoma Hotel in Sokoto, where the couple was staying.
According to reports, the couple had a minor disagreement, which led to Hassan killing his wife.
He confessed to the crime, stating that he was provoked by the deceased, who hit him with something on the head.
The Sokoto State Police Command has arrested Hassan, and an investigation is ongoing.
The hotel where the incident occurred has been shut down by the state government due to complaints of immoral activities .
