The Nigeria Customs Service intercepted 20 transit containers that had been diverted from bonded terminals in the Kano/Jigawa area, with a total Duty Paid Value of about N769.53 million.
The haul included printed fabrics, vitrified tiles, diesel engine oil, polyester materials, used clothing and other goods, all of which were seized for unpaid duties and violation of the Customs Service Act 2023 .
