Work has reached advance stage at the ongoing road construction on the Sokoto–Badagry road project, with visible progress recorded on the Katami axis in Silami Local Government Area, extending toward the Kebbi State border.
As part of the continuation of construction activities, contractors are currently placing Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP), marking a significant stage in the delivery of this strategic highway.
The ongoing CRCP works demonstrate steady advancement from preparatory stages to permanent pavement construction, reflecting the commitment to delivering a durable and high-quality road that can withstand heavy traffic over time.
This section remains busy with construction activities as the project continues to move forward.
The Sokoto–Badagry road, when completed, will enhance connectivity, improve safety, and support economic growth by easing the movement of people and goods across states.
