The mega rally in Jega Local Government Area saw more than a hundred thousand APC loyalists join the African Democratic Congress, a move that’s being touted as one of the biggest defections ahead of the 2027 elections.
Former Justice Minister Abubakar Malami, who hails from Kebbi and is currently detained by the EFCC, has been actively encouraging the switch.
