The development comes amid speculation about Governor Yusuf’s own political future, with some insiders suggesting he may also be considering a switch to APC.
However, Hashimu Dungurawa, NNPP Kano State Chairman suspended by his ward, downplayed the development, stating that Kwankwaso and Governor Yusuf are “working same direction”. He insisted he remains the legitimate party chairman.
