
The Kebbi State Government has pledged to ensure justice for victims of a deadly farmer-herder clash in Gulma town, Argungu Local Government Area, which killed at least 8 people. Deputy Governor Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida led a delegation to Argungu, expressing sympathy to affected families and assuring punishment for perpetrators.
The clash reportedly started when cattle strayed into a farmland, sparking a dispute that escalated into violence. Security agencies have been deployed to prevent further clashes, and investigations are ongoing.
