Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of his Director General, Media and Publicity, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, as Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council.The appointment was contained in a statement released from the office of the Governor and made available to newsmen in Kano.

According to the statement, the appointment is part of strategic moves to strengthen the communication and coordination of the presidential campaign activities.
Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa is expected to bring his wealth of experience in media management, publicity and political communication to the new assignment.
The statement noted that Tofa has served diligently as DG Media to Governor Abba Kabir, where he has demonstrated professionalism and commitment to the administration’s image and policies.
As Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, he will be responsible for coordinating media activities, managing information flow and ensuring effective publicity for the campaign council.
The Governor expressed confidence that Tofa will discharge his new responsibility with dedication and contribute significantly to the success of the presidential campaign
