Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state has bolstered security operations across the state with the provision of 10 vehicles and 50 motorcycles to the Joint Task Force (JTF).
The support which aims to improve mobility, enhance rapid response, and boost overall operational efficiency particularly in the frontline Local Government Areas of Kiru, Tsanyawa, Kunchi, Ghari, Shanono, Tudun Wada, and Doguwa.
According to a statement issued by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the handover ceremony took place on Wednesday at the Government House in Kano.
The allocation letter was presented by the Director of Special Services, Umar Baba Zubairu, who represented the Director General, Special Services, Major General Sani Muhammad (rtd).
The JTF Commander, AM Tukur, was represented at the event by his Chief of Staff.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Commissioner of Police, the Director of the DSS
