Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to Northern Nigeria, particularly in education, justice, and community development.
He received the Distinguished Service Award from the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) during their Silver Jubilee celebration, acknowledging his selfless service and humanitarian efforts.
Meanwhile , from the information Wammakko pledged 1 billion naira donation to ACF, Wamakko has demonstrated his philanthropy through various initiatives.
He established Northwest University in Sokoto and sponsored numerous students for higher education, both locally and internationally.
Additionally, he disbursed over N317 million to 1,176 orphans in Sokoto State, supporting their education and well-being. The event was attended by dignitaries as Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar lll were in attendance. Wammakko signify, Aminu Dantatta he replaced in the North.
