In order to address youths restiveness across society, Senator representing Sokoto Central, Senator Aliyu Wammakko has granted Scholarship to 29 Sokoto students to study various courses at Huda University, Gusau, Zamfara State.
Presenting letters to the beneficiaries at his residence Gawon Nama, Sokoto metropolitan city. Senator Aliyu told the students to ensure they remain ambassadors while in another environment of studies, adding that the gesture is aimed at offering them opportunity to achieved great life.
He also urged the beneficiaries to honor the trust placed in them, while emphasizing the significance of discipline, focus, and good character as essential ingredients for achieving meaningful success.
Wamakko, have sponsored over 1,000 of students in various tertiary institutions both within Nigeria and abroad, This demonstrating an unwavering commitment to education and youth restiveness.
Sarkin Yanman Sokoto a strong traditional title accorded to Senator Wammakko by the Sultante Council, while highlighting the the significant role education plays in shaping the future our teeming youths.
Senator Wamakko reminded the students that they should always dedicated themselves to their studies as future leaders and remain examples to others to emulate.
“You should work by ensuring good conduct , transparent and accountability in what ever you are doing in order to move sokoto and Nigeria to a greater heights”, he added
” We have done ours part, now is your part to maintain your study very well and passing exams is left for you”, he urged them to acknowledged.
Lastly, thanks the youths for given him their mandate during electioneering campaign before and even the next election yet to come.
Speaking On of the beneficiaries Abdul Salam, who spoke on behalf of the colleagues, however, conveyed heartfelt gratitude for the senator’s benevolence gift and effort, describing the scholarship as a life-altering opportunity that promises to unlock significant academic and professional doors.
