Islamic Cleric Sheikh Ahmed Gumi warned that Nigeria is loosing soldiers because the military alone can’t beat the bandits group.
He spoke with BBC English Service reporter Monitored online by *The Northern Star* saying only about 25 percent of the fight is kinetic with the rest depending on politics and local communities. He framed the kidnapping of schoolgirls as “lesser evil” compared to killing soldiers, underscoring how dire the security situation has come.
So, his message that the current approach isn’t working and the country is paying the price in lives.
