Six journalists were killed in a tragic car crash on the Gombe‑Yola highway on December 29, 2025.
The reporters were heading to an assignment when their vehicle lost control, resulting in the fatal wreck; several others were injured and rushed to hospital. The loss has sent shockwaves through the local media community, with tributes pouring in for the victims.
