Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Lahore, Pakistan, and North West University, Sokoto, to strengthen collaboration in medical education and training.
The agreement focuses on advancing medical studies through academic exchange programmes, capacity building, research collaboration, and the training of healthcare professionals.
This initiative is part of North West University Sokoto’s commitment to improving access to quality education and enhancing the healthcare sector, particularly for students and institutions in Sokoto State and Nigeria.
The partnership is expected to open new opportunities for medical students, promote international academic cooperation, and contribute significantly to human capital development in the health sector .
