Industrialization: He established a massive range of local industries to create jobs, including the Sokoto Rice Mill, Sokoto Foam Factory, Sokoto Ceramic Factory, and the Sokoto Tannery.
Infrastructure & Tourism: He built the first five-star hotel in the state (Giginya Hotel), Grand Fishing Hotel Argungu, Gusau Hotel, and established the Sokoto Investment Company and Sokoto Co-operative Bank.
Education: He maintained a free education policy for all indigenes and provided transport fares for students to return home during holidays. He also built four technical colleges and four vocational training centers.
Rural Development: He was the first to introduce an Integrated Rural Development Programme in the state, focusing on massive rural water supply and feeder roads.
