

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has distributed cash and material gifts to over 50,000 youths in Sokoto State, ahead of the Sallah celebration.
This annual programme aims to support the needy across the state. Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and prayed for the senator’s well-being.
The distribution exercise, held at Gawon Nama, Sokoto, included clothing materials and cash assistance to young people, women, and the elderly.
Wamakko emphasized his commitment to providing relief materials to those in need, citing it as part of his corporate responsibility. Similarly, the ex-governor host politicians, stakeholders and community leaders iftar to strengthen solidarity with all relevant body to ease their need.
However, recently before the commencement of the fasting the State Government has released 1bn for Ramadan feeding for Sokoto Indigens.
Senator Wammakko has from 2007 to 2015 emerged Governor under intense battle of litigations by Bafarawa before he joined Senate.
