Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, has revealed that the Federal Government and the state government are working together to end insecurity in the state.
He made this statement during a Sallah homage visit to the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, assuring citizens of the administration’s efforts to boost security.
Aliyu highlighted the government’s support for security agencies and the State Community Guard Corps, urging citizens to cooperate with authorities to combat banditry. He also called for prayers for security personnel deployed to volatile areas.
The Sultan praised Governor Aliyu’s people-oriented projects, assuring him of the Sultanate Council’s support.
He commended security agencies’ efforts and urged citizens to pray for the nation’s leaders.
