Comrade Ismail Ammai Maizare, former NUJ Kano Council Chairman, has been conferred the title of Eminent Peace Ambassador by WAZOBIA Peace,
Conflict Resolution and Peace Advocacy Initiative (WACOPAI) for his selfless service and contributions to peacebuilding.
Maizare’s achievements include securing opportunities for youths, mediating conflicts, and providing professional training for journalists.
He also spearheaded capacity-building programs for Nasara Radio staff, strengthening local media professionalism.
Maizare expressed gratitude, dedicating the honor to his community, and pledged to continue working for societal betterment.
