The Sokoto State Government has issued a deadline for traders operating along roadsides to vacate the areas, citing public safety concerns.
Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Barrister Nasiru Aliyu Dan Tsoho, announced this during an inspection tour of several locations across Sokoto metropolis.
The move is part of efforts to address congestion and improve security in the city. Traders have been warned to relocate to designated areas to avoid penalties.
