
Niger State Governor, Farmer Umaru Mohammed Bago, has met and hold crucial meeting with all the 25 local government chairmen at the Government House, Minna, after brainstorm with them on ways to developed the state to a greater.
Speaking shortly, the governor urged the newly elected chairmen to remain humble in victory, while assuring them that his doors remain open for collaboration.
He also pledged that those who did not win would not be abandoned, adding that noting that their experience could still be valuable to the state in other capacities.
Bago further congratulated all women vice chairmen elect, describing their emergence as a test of capacity and a motivation for him to entrust women with higher responsibilities in future.
Other speakers at the meeting included the State APC Chairman, Hon. Aminu Bobi, and some of the chairmen elect.
