Vice President Kashim Shettima yesterday paid a condolences visit to the family of the late President Shehu Shagari following the demised of his last Wife, Hajia Sutura Shehu Shagari.
Hajiya, Sutura died after a brief illness age 90. She has since been buried in Sokoto according to Islamic rite.

Vice President Kashim Shettima yesterday paid a condolences visit to the family of the late President Shehu Shagari following the demised of his last Wife, Hajia Sutura Shehu Shagari.

The Vice President Kashim Shatima who was accompanied by a high-powerful delegation from the federal government to the residence of the bereaved family in the Sama Road area of Sokoto metropolis.
However, officials delegation were earlier received by Sokoto State Governor Dr. Ahmed Aliyu via Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, Sokoto before proceeding to a courtesy visit to the APC leader, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
Meanwhile, Senator Wamakko and the Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo, while receiving the Vice President Kashim Shatima expressed gratitude for the visit.
Senator Wamakko thanks Shatima for the visit despite his tight schedules and further wishes him a fruitful journey back to Abuja.
