The Kano Hisbah Corps has rescued three girls who were being trafficked from Jigawa State to Kano for exploitation. The operation took place in Fagge Local Government Area after residents alerted authorities about a dispute between the traffickers over transportation fees.
The rescued girls, Kubairiyya Amadu (14), Rukayya Umar (17), and Rashida Usaini (14), have been handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for further investigation.
