The Leader of APC in the North-West region, and Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has again Officiates another wedding ceremony of Hassan Musa Maccido and Asma’u Aliyu Oroji, held in the Sokoto metropolis.
The marriage was solemnised by Mallam Bashir Gidan Kanawa following the payment of a dowry of ₦200,000, in line with Islamic rites.
The present, Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, formally sought the bride’s hand in marriage from a former Governor of Sokoto State, Mallam Yahaya Abdulkarim, on behalf of the groom.
Special prayers session were offered for Allah’s blessings and guidance upon the couple by three renowned Islamic scholars—Sheikh Yahuza Shehu Tambuwal, Mallam Yahaya Liman Akwara, and Mallam Nafi’u Malami Dan Haja.
The wedding attracted a large crowd of dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Engr. Idris Muhammad Gobir, the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Isah Sadiq Achida, members of the federal and state legislatures, the Minister of State for Works, Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo, traditional rulers, Islamic scholars (ulama), politicians, and other well-wishers.
The event was marked by prayers, goodwill messages, and expressions of joy from guests who prayed for a peaceful and blessed married life for the newlyweds.
