Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved Alhaji Abdullahi Musa of his appointment as Head of Service, effective immediately.
The decision was announced in a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Tuesday evening.
The move is part of the administration’s efforts to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency and improved service delivery.
Governor Yusuf appreciated the outgoing Head of Service’s contributions and dedication, wishing him well in his future endeavors.
Hajiya Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, has been appointed acting Head of Service pending a substantive appointment.
The outgoing Head of Service is directed to handover by Wednesday, March 11, 2026 . Meanwhile, the may have considered aligned with the defection of Abbah Gida-Gida agreement rich with APC.
