His Royal Highness, Alh. Sunusi Lamido Sunusi, Emir of Kano, has paid a condolence visit to the family of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.
The Emir expressed his sympathies to the family, wishing the departed soul Aljannah and strength to the bereaved. The visit was reportedly received by Hon. Muhammad Bashir Sa’idu, a close associate of the El-Rufai family.
The gesture highlights the strong ties between Kano’s traditional leadership and the El-Rufai family.
