
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections.
According to the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, the presidential nomination form will cost ₦100 million, with ₦30 million for expression of interest and ₦70 million for nomination.
The APC has also announced the costs for other elective positions, including:
- Governorship Aspirants: ₦50 million (₦10 million for expression of interest and ₦40 million for nomination)
- Senate Aspirants: ₦20 million (₦3 million for expression of interest and ₦17 million for nomination)
- House of Representatives Aspirants: ₦10 million (₦1 million for expression of interest and ₦9 million for nomination)
- State House of Assembly Aspirants: ₦6 million (₦1 million for expression of interest and ₦5 million for nomination)
The party has also introduced concessions for female aspirants, youths, and persons with disabilities, who will pay the full expression of interest fee and 50% of the nomination fee. ⁴ ⁵
The APC’s presidential primary is scheduled to hold from May 15 to 16, 2026, followed by other primaries:
- House of Representatives Primary: May 18, 2026
- Senate Primary: May 20, 2026
- State House of Assembly Primary: May 21, 2026
- Governorship Primary: May 23, 2026
The sale of nomination forms will take place from April 25 to May 2, 2026, with submission of completed forms closing on May 4, 2026.
