Hajiya Nana Hauwa Yusuf, wife of Brigadier-General Mohammed Danjuma Yusuf (Rtd), former spokesperson for the Nigerian Army, has passed away after suffering a heart attack. She was 62 years old and died on May 3, 2026, in Abuja, Nigeria.
Hajiya Nana Hauwa Yusuf was the Director of Advocacy, Communication, and Social Mobilisation at the FCT Primary Health Care Board before retiring in 2024.
Her son, Mohammed Dantala Yusuf, confirmed her passing, stating that she died at the National Hospital, Abuja, despite efforts to save her. She was buried at Gudu Cemetery, Abuja, following Islamic funeral rites.
