Popular Kannywood actress, Nafisat Abdullahi, has sparked controversy after saying she might consider leaving Islam if the attacks and insults against her over her views on marriage continue.
The actress made the statement while reacting to the wave of criticism that trailed her recent comments about marriage, which she shared publicly.
According to her, instead of engaging her in a respectful discussion, many people have resorted to abusing and dragging her on social media.
Nafisat said the constant harassment and “zage-zage” have become overwhelming, and that she feels targeted simply for expressing her personal opinion.
