The Gombe State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, has announced that his comprehensive blueprint for the development of the state will soon be unveiled, with a promise to drive Gombe towards greater economic growth and improved living standards.
Gwamna said the blueprint, which will be presented when the governorship and State Assembly campaigns commence, will be anchored on Continuity, Sustainability and Consolidation, combining the achievements of the present administration with fresh ideas and practical solutions to address emerging challenges.
He said his campaign would remain focused on issues that directly affect the people, including job creation, youth and women empowerment, agriculture and livestock development, education, healthcare, infrastructure, entrepreneurship, investment and innovation.
The APC candidate reaffirmed that he would maintain a clean, peaceful and issue-based campaign, saying there would be no room for insults, personal attacks or unnecessary distractions. He stressed that the guiding principle of his campaign remained “Gombe Above All.”
According to him, the people of Gombe deserve a campaign that speaks directly to their concerns and presents clear and achievable solutions capable of improving their quality of life across the state.
Gwamna also called on citizens to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in his senatorial ambition, and other APC candidates contesting for the Senate and House of Representatives, saying the party’s development agenda should be sustained.
He maintained that the projects and programmes implemented by the Inuwa Yahaya administration provide a strong foundation upon which his proposed blueprint would build, while promising to introduce innovative policies and strategic initiatives to accelerate development.
Gwamna further urged political actors, supporters and citizens to preserve peace and embrace respectful political engagement, stressing that personal and political differences must never be allowed to override the collective interest of Gombe State.
