Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the Sardaunan Gombe and APC gubernatorial candidate in Gombe State, has felicitated Muslims across the state and beyond on the occasion of Eid-ul-Maulud, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a goodwill message, Gwamna urged Muslims to reflect on the teachings and exemplary life of the Prophet, particularly his virtues of peace, compassion, patience, justice, tolerance and love for humanity.
He called on residents of Gombe State and Nigerians in general to use the occasion to strengthen unity, promote peaceful coexistence and foster mutual understanding, stressing that collective commitment to peace remains vital to national development.
The APC candidate also urged Muslims to sustain prayers for an end to insecurity and other challenges confronting the country, while appealing to residents to celebrate responsibly, observe necessary precautions and obey traffic regulations.
Gwamna prayed that Allah would continue to guide the nation’s leaders and citizens, and grant Gombe State and Nigeria lasting peace, unity, prosperity and progress.
He wished Muslim faithful a peaceful and blessed Eid-ul-Maulud celebration.
