KANO — The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has completed his first-semester examinations at Northwest University, Kano, where he is studying for an LL.B degree in Common Law and Sharia.
Sanusi reportedly sat for the examinations alongside his fellow students, marking another stage in his academic pursuit at the university. His participation has attracted attention, particularly because of his decision to undertake the programme while continuing his responsibilities as a traditional ruler.
The Emir is said to be hopeful of maintaining his strong academic performance and sustaining a good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) as he progresses with his studies. His academic engagement has also generated discussions about the balance between traditional responsibilities and personal educational development.
The completion of the first-semester examinations means the Emir will now proceed to the next phase of the programme, with expectations that he will continue attending lectures and fulfilling the academic requirements of the LL.B Common Law and Sharia course.
