Bida — the pride of Nupe land — has again made headlines for the wrong reason. Over the years, it seems every leader who visits ends up being stoned or chased:
Late Engr. Abdulkadir Kure was stoned in Bida.
Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu (Talban Minna) was stoned in Bida.
Abubakar Sani Bello was stoned in Bida.
And now, even Mohammed Umar Bago — the son of Bida itself — has faced the same.
So the question is: What’s really wrong with Bida boys?
Could it be lack of discipline?
