Senator Aliyu Wammakko and former Governor and ex- Minister of Defense, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso both hit the X‑timeline today, telling folks in Sokoto to stay cool and keep the peace after the U.S. airstrike in Jabo.
Wammakko, who is the former chairman House Committee on Defense, said he is in talks with security chiefs to get the full story and stressed that the operation is aimed at terrorist elements, not civilians.

Kwankwaso echoed the same message, urging residents to stay law‑abiding while authorities sort out the details.
Both leaders called for unity, vigilance and cooperation with security agencies to help wipe out the threat without causing more fear.
