Minister of State fot Works Barr. Bello Goronyo distributed Ramadan packages worth ₦200 million to residents of Goronyo Local Government Area in Sokoto State.
The packages included food items like rice, millet, maize, and clothing materials, as well as cash Assistance.
The distribution benefited various groups, including:
– *Party Officials and Elders*: ₦1 million and 44 bags of rice
– *Youth Groups*: ₦1 million and 20 bags of rice
– *Women’s Groups*: ₦500,000 and 25 bags of rice
– *Security Agents*: 50 bags of rice
– *Traditional Rulers*: ₦2 million and 50 bags of rice
Goronyo emphasized that the gesture was part of his humanitarian outreach, aimed at easing economic hardship and promoting community solidarity during Ramadan.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, acknowledging the support as timely and impactful.
