The lifeless body of Hon. Ibrahim former Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Area in Kaduna State, Gajere, as discovered after a brutal attack by suspected terrorists on a burial convoy in Dogon Noma community, Maro Ward, Kaduna State.
The attack occurred on February 16, 2026, leaving several people stranded and multiple vehicles burnt, including Gajere’s official car.
Gajere’s body was found on Wednesday afternoon in the surrounding bush with bullet wounds. The attack has plunged Kajuru and neighboring communities into mourning, with residents fearing for their safety.
Kaduna Community leaders are appealing to security agencies to intensify operations in the area to prevent further bloodshed and escalation of attack by the elements.
