Deputy Senate President Barau I. Jibrin has declared his intention to seek re-election to represent Kano North Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general elections after participating in the APC senatorial screening in Abuja.
“I will once again humbly present myself to the good people of Kano North Senatorial District for the revalidation of the mandate they entrusted in me,” he said.
Barau explained that his decision is aimed at sustaining development projects and improving the living standards of constituents.
“I will remain steadfast and unwavering in the quest to bring more development to our people and uplift their standard of living,” he added.
