Gov. Yusuf Commends Community For Rescuing Victim From Kidnappers
Says Govt Will Not Tolerate Any Attempt To Disrupt Peace
Assures Strengthened Security Across State
The Kano State Government has condemned the alleged infiltration of kidnappers into Garun Mallam town where they attempted to abduct the Sarkin Noma of the area.
Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf stated this when he paid a condolence and solidarity visit to the family of Sarkin Noma at his residence in Garun Mallam over the attempted abduction.
Governor Yusuf said the government is deeply concerned about the incident, stressing that it will not tolerate any attempt to disrupt peace and security in the state.
He said government has concluded all necessary arrangements to strengthen security measures and prevent recurrence of such incident in the area and other parts of the state.
Reports that the Governor also commended the people of Garun Mallam for their bravery in foiling the attempt and rescuing Sarkin Noma, emphasizing that community collaboration with security agencies is vital to protecting lives and property.
