A Magistrate Court has fined Rhoda Adu, a university student, ₦150,000 for failing to keep a promise to visit her boyfriend, Mr. Olapitan, after he sent her ₦3,000 for transport.
Rhoda turned off her phone and ignored messages, prompting Mr. Olapitan to report her to the police.
The court found her guilty based on evidence, including the transfer receipt and WhatsApp messages 😂.
