The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reconstituted its Central Coordination Committee for the 2026 National Convention, appointing former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, as the new chairman.
This change comes after Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, was initially named chairman but has now been reassigned to serve as treasurer.
The committee’s membership has been expanded from 73 to 90, with new additions including Senator Barry Mpigi and other prominent APC chieftains. Other key appointments include:
– *Vice Chairmen*: Former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim (Vice Chairman I) and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Vice Chairman II)
– *Secretary*: Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni
The reconstitution aims to reflect zoning considerations and other strategic exigencies ahead of the party’s national convention.
